Brittany Wheatley is originally from a small town in Delaware. She grew to love stories and traveling due to her family’s interest in camping. She left Laurel to study professional writing and communication at Elon University and will graduate in 2013. Currently, Brittany is the Social Media Consultant at Boys & Girls Club of Alamance County and the Design Programer for Intersect 2013: Leadership and Diversity Conference. She also has past experience working with multiple non-profit organizations in the Burlington, NC area, including Positive Attitude Youth Center and Goodwill. After graduation, she intends to work in public relations and fund the continuation of future travels and adventure.
