Caroline DiGrande, class of 2023, is a senior from Warren, NJ. With a major in Environmental & Sustainability Studies and minors in Spanish and Sociology, she is passionate about studying the intersections between culture and policy with the environment. Through the Elon College Fellows program, she is conducting research on how the pandemic affected waste accumulation and sustainability programs for colleges and universities across the US. She is President of Liberal Arts Forum and works as an Office Assistant at the Truitt Center for Religious & Spiritual Life on campus. Post-graduation, she plans to pursue opportunities with Cooperative Extension around community education and outreach about food justice and sustainability.
