Claire Lancaster

Claire Lancaster, class of 2024, is a senior from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is a Professional Writing and Rhetoric and Creative Writing double major with minors in Psychology and American Studies. On campus, she shares her love of writing and literature through her role as a Writing Center consultant and as a Co-President of Sigma Tau Delta, the English honor society. She is a member of Psi Chi, the psychology honor society, and Omicron Delta Kappa, the leadership honor society. Claire also enjoys her role in Greek Life as Alpha Xi Delta’s Pledge Class ‘21 representative on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. Her work has appeared in Beyond Words and Carolina Muse, received two Frederick Hartman fiction awards, and received a Philip Carret critical essay award. Following graduation, Claire hopes to pursue an MFA in Creative Writing.
