Emerson Wells, Class of 2023, is a senior from West Jefferson, NC. Majoring in Environmental and Ecological Sciences with a minor in Environmental Education, Wells is interested in both the hard and social sciences with a specific interest in sustainable and regenerative agriculture. On campus, she works as both an Outreach Intern with the Office of Sustainability and Assistant Manager at Loy Farm. She is also involved with the Campus Kitchen program. After graduation, she hopes to work in the food system sphere, particularly within rural communities.
