Sydnie Matda, class of 2023, is a senior from Bristol, VA. She is double majoring in Environmental & Ecological Science and Biology with a minor in Environmental Education. On campus, she is involved in and holds leadership roles in the marching and pep bands where she plays the saxophone. She also works as a teaching assistant for the environmental studies department and a stockroom assistant for the chemistry department. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in zookeeping or wildlife conservation.
