Oak City Brewing Company

This teeny, tiny, neighborhood brewery is nestled in historic Knightdale, overlooking Knightdale Station Park. While you may not consider a brewery to be the prime location for getting together with friends and family, Oak City Brewing Company offers something for everybody.
For the beer lovers, there are twenty guest beers on tap at all times, but the menu rotates out. From local crafts to imported brews, there’s always variety and room to step outside of your comfort zone. Ciders, sours, and everything in between, the Brewing Company has it all.
For the tykes under 21, or for anyone who’s not driving all the way into Knightdale for a sour or IPA, there’s the food truck parade. Every day, a new NC-based food truck finds a home outside of the brewery. Frequent fliers include Chirba Chirba, Paddy Wagon, Las Gringas Tacos, and Chick-n-que.
With a craft beer in one hand and a greasy, truck-based basket of food in the other, you can find yourself a seat on one of the many picnic tables shaded by massive oak trees overlooking the park. Children run around, playing tag. Dogs chase frisbees and paw pathetically at their owners for a Chirba Chirba dumpling from the table.
Whether you’re looking for a quiet night out with good food and friends, or a cutesy event that’ll take you out of your mundane routine, take a look at the schedule and consider taking a stroll through the Beer Garden.
